is they continue to improve the options and interface. Last year they added
a 'younger grades' view; this year they added a 'middle school' view which
is suitably challenging for my more proficient students. The administrative
set up allows you to create teacher accounts and class groups and to set
standards for each class group. You can move students between groups, etc.
You can reset student passwords by logging in as a teacher. You do NOT have
to populate the 'email address' field when you create accounts. You can
import a list of new students or you can share the code and have
students/parents sign themselves up.

Subject: online typing programs
We are looking for an online typing program for grades 2 - 8 that can
track students progress and log it via a userID (not an email address). We
are working to set benchmarks per grade level and we would like students
to be able to work at home for extra practice and have their lessons and
assessments recorded so that the teacher can see it. Does anyone know of
such a program? All of the ones we have found require an email address.
We don't want parents to have to install a program at home. We looked at
Type 2 Learn but it requires a full installation.
